I like the scratchy parts of this piece... like there's a structure or energy under the layers

It's only the play of light in warm reflections from depth and cooled from sky you can jump in and splash at the world.

Wonderful miniature.

This one is very powerful Cliff. I can see the female in it alright. It has a sense of observing to it. Maybe one for the RHA?

I wish I could paint like that :D
(or maybe I wish I could paint at all at the moment, haha)...

this is such a beauty...the colour scheme is just at my liking...I see something like a ship...very abstracted though....
wonderful work

funny I always want to know, if the painter is content with the piece of art in question....

are you content? :D
or maybe I am just nosy....

No,you´re not being nosey Birgit!! But Content? Nah With this piece I´d say so:D But It´s all so transitory, isn´t it?
Indeed those phases of activity are sometimes shortlived, aren´t they?
But in those times of inspiration there can be enough of a spark to ignite that fire which will carry us on.
It´s not a ship, though I can see why you might have said that. I´m thinking a lot about my Mother and the walks she takes with my Dad in the park.I spent two months over in Ireland while she recuperated from Illness.I went on two walks with them in the park, took some photos. There are elements in those photos I am useing,They are elderly but seeing how life is slipping away from her bit by bit,I´m finding it´s influencing my work.A form of dealing with the emotional aspect of it all.Thank you again for your thoughts

oh...that is interesting....transitory...that word is a lot in my head now, interesting you would mention it....
but yes...I do think it is transitory...like many things...even life itself....

and I thank you so much for sharing your story here (I hope your mother is okay at the moment...)

Yes,It´s an interesting word,Sums up a lot how I´m thinking.
Dividing my life between here and there, and that justs adds to the feeling of these altered states.
My mother is doing okay at the moment, thankfully. She´s very strong willed and a has a strong constitution.
Thanks again Birgit:)

Another interesting piece. Great tones and textures. Coupled with the title this creates a mystery as to what this might be. Another well done piece!
